Low Carb Bread – It’s a Winner

Flaxseeds are a super seed, rich in fat and one of the best plant-based sources of heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids. Almost all of the carbs in flaxseeds consist of fiber, both soluble and insoluble so are excellent for digestive health.

This is the best recipe I have come across for Low Carb bread and it is super fast to make. This whole bap clocks in at only 1.4g of net carbs!


  • 60g of linseed (Flax) ground freshly in a blender
  • 30g of butter melted
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 good pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of baking powder


Combine all the ingredient and mix well in a medium size bowl.

Microwave on high for about 90 seconds or until full cooked.

Allow to cool out of the bowl on a wire rack ( it smells a little odd when hot). It makes a great sandwich or bun for a burger, especially with real butter on top! No cravings 2 hours after this ultra healthy bread.
